There are different types of exercise: leg exercise, back exercise, arm exercise, stomach exercise, kick up, stretching, to mention but a few .

There three major categories of exercise: Flexibility
exercises , such as stretching, improve the range of motion of muscles and joints. Aerobic exercises , such as cycling, swimming, walking, skipping rope, rowing, running, hiking or playing tennis, focus on increasing cardiovascular endurance. Anaerobic exercises , such as weight training, functional training or sprinting, increase short-term muscle strength.
Benefits Of Exercising
Maintenance of a healthy weight: Regular exercise helps us to maintain a good and healthy body weight. For us to lose weight we need to burn calories. Exercise helps burn calories stored in our body from the food we eat.
Reduction of Stress: Exercise also reduces levels of
cortisol . Cortisol is a stress hormone that builds fat in the abdominal region, making weight loss difficult. Cortisol causes many health problems, both physical and mental.
Reduction of the risk of Diseases: Exercise reduces the risk of having diseases such as heart, high blood pressure(hypertension), stroke, heart attack, arthritis etc. It may even help prevent mentally illnesses like
Depression.
Increase of energy and endurance: People who exercise regularly have more energy, strength and endurance to get through their daily activities than non-exercisers. In fact, you will likely notice this feeling of increased energy and vitality a few short weeks after you start to exercise on a regular basis.
Improve psychological well-being: Exercise helps you to be mentally alert. While exercising, your body releases chemicals called endorphins that can improve your mood and the way you feel about yourself.
Enhanced work, recreation, and sport performance:
People who exercise regularly, are always good in recreational and sport activities. Their muscles are more relaxed and they have a great level of endurance.
So why don`t you start exercising today? Don`t say you are too tired or that exercise is too stressful. Just go ahead and try. With time you'll get used to it.
